The DSLCC NSA

Mission
The Nursing Students Association serves as a venue
for nursing students who are willing to:
     A) Develop professional and leadership skills
B) Work cooperatively with one another
in a spirit of teamwork
    C) Nurture an altruistic and caring attitude
for a healthy community. 

Vision
The members of  Nursing Students Association (NSA)
 will become nurses who will uphold the standards
of excellence, altruism and professionalism.
         
   Goals and Purposes
     ●To promote the professional and leadership
 development of nursing students. 
●To create an environment where nursing
students interact positively with one another
and to represent DSLCC nursing students
in college-wide student activities,
 in the VNSA,  NSNA and other related organizations.

      ●To provide opportunities for nursing students
to participate in various community health care
activities such as B/P screenings, career fairs,
blood drives & relief assistance (local,
 regional or global).
